Shiatsu

Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a Japanese bodywork (massage) system used to restore health, balance, & vitality, while also renewing our spirit and zest for life.  Shiatsu is traditionally done on a soft mat on the floor, but can also be done on a massage table for those who cannot easily get up and down from the floor.

Body pressure is applied with palms, thumbs, and sometimes elbows in rhythmic patterns along nerve and circulation pathways. Stimulating these pathways improves organ function & health, corrects neuromuscular & structural imbalances, promotes emotional balance, stimulates the immune system, balances hormones, and promotes whole body wellness in a very deep and profound way.

Regular Shiatsu sessions can help you to recover from motor vehicle accidents, acute or chronic pain, auto-immune conditions, digestive issues, women's health, and much, much more.
