Acupuncturist
When I was seven, I lived with my grandparents in Los Angeles. For some reason I was sick a lot of the time. My grandma had a friend that was an acupuncturist. She would always recommend bitter herbs. I never like taking them, but it would help with the fevers and coughs. As I became older, I had an appreciation for Chinese Medicine and wanted to have a better understanding of acupuncture and herbal medicine. I went to Maharishi International University and earned my Bachelor’s of Integrative Medicine in 2019.
Next I went to the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and graduated with a dual masters/doctorate degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in the fall of 2023. During my time in school, I learned about Japanese style acupuncture. This really resonated with me due to how gentle it was and I liked barely feeling the needle.
In my free time, I like to find places to hike with my dog, find good places to eat, play video game, and gradually build my ‘Uncle Iroh’ wisdom.
