James found a passion for natural medicine while healing from his own aliments with acupuncture, diet, and herbs which inspired him to become a Traditional East Asian Medicine practitioner.
He received his Master’s in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) in 2019, and has honed his bodywork skills working under an esteemed Chinese Tuina practitioner. He has quickly gained valuable experience in treating pain with massage, gua sha, and cupping methods, and particularly enjoys treating using Shiatsu for its profound relaxing, stress reducing qualities.
Previously, James earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Health from Metropolitan State University of Denver and had a fulfilling career in music. He has an interest in bioregional-herbalism, and enjoys hiking, camping, forest bathing, Taichi, Qigong, cooking food as medicine, and spending time with his wife and dog.
